These Terms govern your use of Arize — a general wellness platform built to help you feel seen, heard, and connected. Please read them carefully. They include important limits on what Arize is, what it is not, and what each of us is responsible for.
Arize is not an emergency service. If you or someone else may be in danger, or you are thinking about harming yourself, contact emergency services right away. In the U.S., you can call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), available 24/7, or call 911.
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and AmazeGen, Inc. (“AmazeGen,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your access to and use of the Arize mobile app, https://arize-gamma.vercel.app/reset, the website at AmazeGen.com and any related features, content, and services (together, “Arize” or the “Service”).
By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or otherwise accessing or using Arize, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Arize.
Arize is a general wellness platform made by AmazeGen for ambitious professionals — with particular care for diverse communities and women — to support emotional and everyday wellbeing. Our purpose is simple: to help you feel seen, heard, and connected. Arize has two main features: The Village, a peer community organized into private rooms around shared experiences, and the Clarity Coach, an AI companion for reflecting on situations, feelings, and daily check-ins.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Arize. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older, that you can form a binding contract with us, and that you are not barred from using the Service under applicable law. Arize is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Arize is a general wellness and emotional fitness platform. It is designed to help you reflect, build resilience, and feel more connected through daily practice and community.
Arize is not a medical device, and it is not a healthcare provider. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or mental health condition. Nothing in Arize — including content from the Clarity Coach, insights drawn from your check-ins, or anything shared by other members in The Village — is medical, clinical, psychological, or professional advice.
Arize is not a substitute for professional care, including therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed professional. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions about a medical or mental health condition and never disregard or delay seeking professional help because of something you read or experienced in Arize.
Arize does not provide emergency, crisis, or urgent care of any kind, and it cannot monitor you for risk in real time. Do not rely on Arize — including the Clarity Coach — in a crisis or any situation involving potential harm to yourself or others.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, having thoughts of harming yourself, or facing an emergency, stop using the app and get help immediately. In the U.S., call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. Outside the U.S., contact your local emergency number or crisis line.
The Clarity Coach is designed to surface crisis resources when certain signals appear, but this is a supportive feature only. It is not a safety system, it may not detect every situation, and it is no substitute for professional or emergency help.
The Clarity Coach is an AI wellness companion — not a therapist, counselor, clinician, or human. Its responses are generated by artificial intelligence and are offered to help you reflect, prepare, and process. They are not advice of any kind, and they do not create a professional relationship between you and any licensed provider.
Because the Clarity Coach is generated by AI, you understand and agree that:
Use your own judgment and seek a qualified professional for anything that needs one.
The Village lets members connect in private rooms organized around shared experiences. It is a space for peer support and connection — not a place to give or receive professional advice. Other members are not your therapists, doctors, or advisors, and AmazeGen does not endorse or verify what any member says.
To keep The Village a place where people feel safe being seen, you agree that when you participate you will not:
We may moderate, remove content, or limit or end access to The Village at our discretion to protect the community, though we do not pre-screen or guarantee review of all content. Treat what is shared in The Village as personal to the people who shared it and keep it within the community.
To use most features, you will create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for everything that happens under your account. Let us know promptly at support@amazegen.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You may have one account unless we agree otherwise, and you may not share, sell, or transfer it.
You keep ownership of the content you create or share in Arize — your check-ins, reflections, messages, and posts (“Your Content”). You are responsible for Your Content and for having the right to share it.
You grant AmazeGen a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service and to provide it to you and, where you choose to share, to other members. We will handle personal and health-related information as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of Your Content, and we will not sell it.
You may delete Your Content or your account, and we will remove or de-identify it as described in the Privacy Policy, except where we need to retain certain records for safety, legal, or security reasons.
You agree to use Arize lawfully and respectfully. In addition to the Village standards above, you will not:
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using Arize, you agree to that Privacy Policy.
Some of what you share in Arize — like moods, reflections, and check-ins — may be treated as sensitive or consumer health data under state laws such as Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar laws in Nevada and Connecticut. Where those laws apply, we honor the additional rights and protections they require, as detailed in the Privacy Policy.
Arize, including its name and the names “AmazeGen,” “Arize,” “The Village,” and “Clarity Coach,” along with the logo, “Why Not You?” brand, design, software, and content we provide, are owned by AmazeGen or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use Arize for your own personal, non-commercial wellness use, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Some features may be free and others may require payment. If we offer paid plans, the price, billing cycle, renewal, and cancellation terms will be presented to you before you purchase, and any purchase made through an app store is also subject to that store's terms. Arize will be free during the soft launch. Actual pricing and our renewal policy, when determined, will be available to you before any commitments are required.
Arize relies on and may link to third-party services — for example, hosting, app stores, AI providers, and analytics. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Links or references are not endorsements.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arize is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage.
We do not warrant that Arize will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable, or that any outcome — wellness or otherwise — will result from using the Service. As stated above, Arize is a general wellness tool and is not medical care.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AmazeGen and our officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) Arize, even if we have been advised of the possibility.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the [12] months before the claim, or [USD $100]. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AmazeGen and our team from any claims, damages, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms or the law, or Your Content, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
You may stop using Arize and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms, if needed to protect the community or the Service, or if we stop offering Arize. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as content licenses you've granted, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute terms — will survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will give reasonable notice — for example, by posting the updated Terms with a new effective date or notifying you in the app. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, please stop using Arize.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. [Insert dispute-resolution mechanism — e.g., informal resolution first, then binding individual arbitration and a class-action waiver, or exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in [County, State]. This is an election for counsel.]
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any terms presented for specific features, are the entire agreement between you and AmazeGen about Arize. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Nothing here creates a partnership, agency, or employment relationship between us.
Questions about these Terms? Reach us at support@amazegen.com. We read everything — and we'd love to hear from you.
Arize supports your emotional wellness journey. It is not a substitute for professional therapy or medical care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
