Privacy Policy

You're trusting Arize with some of your most personal reflections. We take that seriously. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, how we use it, the few cases where we share it, and the control you keep over it.

Effective July 1, 2026 Last Updated July 1, 2026 Version 1.1

Our privacy promise

Your reflections belong to you. We protect them like they're our own.

  • We never sell your personal information. Not your reflections, not your check-ins, not your contact details — to anyone, ever.
  • We never share your data with advertisers or data brokers, and we don't let anyone use it for their own marketing.
  • We only share data with the limited service providers we need to run Arize — like secure hosting and the technology behind the Clarity Coach — and only under contracts that require them to protect it and use it solely for us.
  • You stay in control. You can access, correct, download, or delete your information at any time.

01 Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AmazeGen Inc. (“AmazeGen,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use Arize — the Arize mobile app (https://arize-gamma.vercel.app/reset), the website (AmazeGen.com), the waitlist, and related features (the “Service”). It works alongside our Terms of Use. By using Arize, you agree to this policy.

02 Information we collect

We collect only what we need to give you a meaningful, safe experience.

Information you give us

  • Account & contact details — such as your name or chosen display name, email, and password, and what you provide when you join the waitlist.
  • Your reflections & check-ins — moods, notes, daily reflections, goals, and other entries you create. Much of this is sensitive, and we treat it that way.
  • Clarity Coach conversations — what you share with the AI companion when you choose to use it.
  • Village activity — posts, messages, and interactions in community rooms you join.
  • Anything you send us — support requests, feedback, and survey responses.

Information we collect automatically

  • Usage & device data — how you interact with Arize, app version, device type, and general (city-level) location inferred from your IP address, collected to keep the Service working and secure.
  • Cookies & similar technologies — used to keep you signed in and understand how the Service is used. [Confirm exactly which analytics/cookies are in use and reflect them here and in a cookie banner if required.]

We do not ask for special-category data we don't need, and we don't collect precise GPS location.

03 How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Provide Arize and its features — your account, check-ins, the Clarity Coach, and The Village.
  • Personalize your experience, like reflecting your own patterns back to you over time.
  • Keep the community and the Service safe, including surfacing crisis resources and preventing abuse.
  • Respond to you, and send service messages (and, only if you opt in, occasional updates you can unsubscribe from).
  • Understand and improve how Arize works, using aggregated or de-identified information wherever we can.
  • Meet our legal, security, and safety obligations.

04 How we do not use it

Some commitments are easier to understand as a list of things we will never do:

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or marketers for their own purposes.
  • We do not use your private reflections or Clarity Coach conversations to target ads to you.
  • We do not allow our service providers to use your information for anything other than providing their service to us.

05 When we share — and only then

We share personal information only in these limited situations:

  • With service providers who help us run Arize (see the next section), under contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only for us.
  • At your direction — for example, what you choose to post in a Village room is visible to others in that room.
  • For safety — if we reasonably believe it's necessary to protect someone from serious harm, consistent with applicable law.
  • For legal reasons — to comply with a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, users, and the Service.
  • In a business transfer — if AmazeGen is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that deal. We'll require the new owner to honor this policy or notify you of any material change and your choices.

06 Service providers

We work with a small set of trusted providers to operate Arize. Each is bound by contract to protect your information and use it only to provide their service to us. They fall into these categories:

  • Hosting & infrastructure — to store data and run the Service securely.
  • AI technology — the model provider that powers the Clarity Coach processes the messages you send it. Arize Clarity Coach uses OpenAI Chat GPT 4.5 (openai.com/policies/row-privacy-policy).
  • App stores & distribution — to deliver and update the app.
  • Email & waitlist tools — to manage sign-ups and send service messages.
  • Analytics — to understand and improve how Arize is used. Currently, no analytic tools are in place.

07 Your health data & state privacy laws

Some of what you share in Arize — moods, reflections, and check-ins — may be treated as sensitive consumer health data under state laws including Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar laws in Nevada and Connecticut. Where those laws apply:

  • We collect and use this data only to provide the Service to you, or with your consent.
  • We do not sell this data, and we don't share it except as described in this policy.
  • You have the right to access this data, withdraw your consent, and ask us to delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or similar state laws. See “Your choices and rights” for how to use them.

08 The Clarity Coach & AI

When you use the Clarity Coach, the messages you send are processed by a third-party AI provider so it can respond. We may also keep a record of these conversations to keep the Service safe (for example, to surface crisis resources and prevent misuse) and to improve how the Coach works, consistent with this policy.

The Clarity Coach is an AI wellness companion, not a therapist or human, and it does not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. Responses will eventually be reviewed by our licensed therapist Cofounder and may be used to update the wellness companion. All data is masked, meaning no information is saved tying any of the information back to you. All data is made anonymous.

09 The Village & what others see

The Village is a community space. What you post in a room is visible to other members of that room, so please share with that in mind. Your private check-ins and Clarity Coach conversations are not shared with the community. We provide tools to report content, and we may remove content or accounts to protect the community as described in the Terms of Use.

10 Your choices and rights

You have real control over your information. Depending on where you live, you can:

Your rightWhat it means
AccessAsk for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
CorrectFix information that's inaccurate or out of date.
DeleteAsk us to delete your information and close your account.
Withdraw consentWithdraw consent for processing that relies on it, including health data.
Opt outUnsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.
ComplainContact your state attorney general or privacy regulator if you have concerns.

To use any of these, email us at privacy@amazegen.com. We'll respond within the time your local law requires, and we won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.

11 How long we keep data

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your information within 90 days except where we need to keep limited records for safety, legal, security, or accounting reasons.

12 How we protect data

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, such as encryption in transit, access controls, and limiting who on our team can see what. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security — but protecting your trust is a priority, not an afterthought.

13 Children's privacy

Arize is for adults. You must be at least 18 to use it, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us at privacy@amazegen.com and we'll delete it.

14 Where data is processed

We and our service providers are based in the United States and your information is processed there. If you use Arize from outside that region, you understand your information will be transferred and processed there, with protections consistent with this policy and applicable law.

15 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Arize grows. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated policy with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Material changes that affect sensitive or health data will not apply to previously collected data without your consent where the law requires it.

16 Contact & how to reach us
